371 H-1B petitions filed by employers classified under the Administrative and Support and Waste Management and Remediation Services industry in Georgia in 2024

Employers classified under the Administrative and Support and Waste Management and Remediation Services industry based in Georgia submitted 371 H-1B petitions during 2024, according to data provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-1B Employer Data Hub.

Of these, 357 were approved (96.2%), while 14 were denied (3.8%).

Employers are classified under industries based on their reported operations and may be involved in multiple industries.

The H-1B visa program allows U.S. employers to temporarily hire foreign workers in specialty occupations requiring specialized knowledge and at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. While the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services industry led the H-1B filings with 6,763 petitions, representing 56.7% of all submissions in Georgia during 2024, the next largest contributor was the Educational Services industry, which accounted for 1,114 petitions and represented 9.3% of the total. Among petitions from employers in the Educational Services industry, 6,512 were approved and 251 were denied.

The Georgia employers which made the most petitions in the Administrative and Support and Waste Management and Remediation Services sector during 2024 included Equifax, Inc. with 219 petitions, Ogrady Peyton International USA, Inc. with 46 petitions, and Randstad General Partner US, LLC with 17 petitions.

Compared to 2023, the Administrative and Support and Waste Management and Remediation Services sector in Georgia saw a 214.4% increase in the number of H-1B petitions during 2024.
