AgGeorgia Farm Credit will host a free AGAware Workshop for farmers and agricultural producers on June 25 at the Athens-Clarke County Extension Office, 275 Cleveland Road, Bogart, GA, according to a June 2 announcement. The full-day event is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with lunch provided for all attendees.

The workshop aims to help participants strengthen their financial management skills essential for running successful agricultural operations. It is certified for FSA Direct Borrower Training credits, allowing attendees to meet lending requirements while gaining practical knowledge in farm finance.

AGAware workshops are part of AgGeorgia Farm Credit’s ongoing commitment to support and educate the next generation of farmers. The session will address various financial topics relevant to modern farm operations and long-term sustainability. AGAware equips producers with the tools and confidence they need to manage finances effectively and plan for long-term success.”

The program is open to both new and experienced farmers interested in improving their financial decision-making skills, enhancing record keeping practices, and better navigating agricultural lending processes. Registration is currently open online at AgGeorgia.com/AGAware.
