State Representative Anissa Jones (D-Macon) has been recognized as the 2025 Chiropractor of the Year by the Georgia Chiropractic Association (GCA). The award honors her commitment to patient care and community health in Georgia.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to receive this recognition from my peers,” said Rep. Jones. “Chiropractic care has the power to change lives, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve both my patients and the people of House District 143 while advocating for healthcare policies that put patients first.”

The GCA presents this award annually to a doctor of chiropractic who demonstrates clinical excellence, ethical leadership, service to the profession, and advocacy for chiropractic care at both local and state levels.

“Dr. Jones represents the very best of our profession,” said a representative from the Georgia Chiropractic Association. “Her dedication to patient-centered care, her leadership within the chiropractic community and her service in the Georgia House of Representatives make her uniquely deserving of this honor.”

Rep. Jones operates Total Fuze Spine and Pain Center in Macon and has held several leadership positions within the association. She is known for supporting access to conservative, non-opioid healthcare solutions.

The Georgia Chiropractic Association is recognized as a leading organization representing doctors of chiropractic in Georgia. It focuses on advancing the profession and improving public health across the state.

Burns, a Republican, was elected to represent Georgia’s 159th House District in 2005, succeeding Ray Holland.
