The Appellate Litigation Clinic at the University of Georgia School of Law argued Dailey v. Fleming before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, according to a June 1 announcement. Sydney M. McRae and Casey E. Smith, both graduates from the Class of 2026, presented arguments in front of the courthouse as part of their participation in the clinic.
The Appellate Litigation Clinic provides law students with opportunities to gain practical experience by representing clients in appellate cases under supervision. The recent appearance before a federal appellate court highlights this experiential learning component.
