Archbold Hospitals announced on Mar. 18 that Dr. Dottie Bragg, an obstetrician and gynecologist, has joined its medical staff.

The addition of Dr. Bragg expands the healthcare services available to women in the Thomasville area and supports Archbold Hospitals’ commitment to community health through wellness programs, screenings, and educational initiatives, according to the official website.

Dr. Bragg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Georgia and a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her residency at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. She will practice with the Shaw Center for Women’s Health in Thomasville alongside Drs. Geri E Justice, Joseph S. Novak Jr., Melissa S. Bruhn, and Sarah Chason.

Archbold Hospitals features a flagship campus in Thomasville as well as additional facilities across South Georgia and North Florida through its network of hospitals and clinics, according to the official website. The organization operates as a not-for-profit entity dedicated to enhancing health and well-being for communities it serves.

The hospital system recently received recognition as one of the nation’s top 100 hospitals by Fortune and PINC AI, according to information provided on its official website.
