The third annual Athens Area Honey Bee Festival will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Athens-Clarke County Extension Office located at 275 Cleveland Road.
The event is open to the public and free of charge, offering a variety of activities for families and individuals interested in honey bees and local agriculture.
Attendees can participate in honey tastings, kids activities, face painting, plant sales, bee hive explorations, and other attractions throughout the day. Organizers say the festival aims to educate visitors about honey bees while providing fun experiences for all ages.
