State Representative Carl Gilliard of Savannah has been announced as the keynote speaker for the upcoming Pi Alpha Alpha Induction Ceremony at Savannah State University. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The ceremony is set to honor graduate students who have achieved high GPAs, along with members of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, which recognizes undergraduate students excelling in political science.

The ceremony will be held at the Asa H Gordon Library on the second floor art gallery at Savannah State University, located at 3219 College Street in Savannah, Georgia.
