State Representative Carmen Rice of Columbus has been nominated by House leadership to join GOPAC’s 2025 Class of Emerging Leaders. Rep. Rice is among 30 legislators nationwide chosen for this opportunity, recognized for their potential to positively influence their states.
Rep. Rice expressed her gratitude, stating, “I am deeply honored and grateful to House leadership for nominating me to be part of GOPAC’s 2025 Class of Emerging Leaders.” She added, “Following my first session as a legislator, I am thankful for the support of my legislative colleagues and mentors as I work for the people of House District 139. I am eager to learn alongside this group of talented lawmakers from across the country to share ideas, improve policy initiatives and strengthen our communities and states. This program offers a tremendous opportunity to grow as a leader, and I am committed to using this experience to better support Georgia’s families and businesses.”
The year-long program aims to educate promising Republican legislators by providing them with information that enhances their legislative effectiveness and prepares them for future leadership roles within their states.
