The Chattahoochee County Board of Education announced on May 12 the schedule for its 2026 budget process.

The timeline outlines several key dates for community members and stakeholders to follow. A Budget Work Session is set for April 14, followed by two public hearings scheduled for May 19 and June 16 at CCMHS, both starting at 5:30 p.m. The board plans to advertise the proposed budget in the legal organ on June 17, with final approval expected at the Board of Education Office on June 29.

These meetings provide opportunities for public input and transparency throughout the budgeting process. The board encourages participation from residents who wish to learn more or share their views about district finances.

In addition to this year’s planning, a tentative budget for the following year is already available online. The document can be accessed through a link provided by the board: https://tinyurl.com/CCSDTentativeBudget2027.

The Chattahoochee County Board of Education will continue to update stakeholders as each stage of the process approaches.
