The Office of Digital Equity announced on June 2 that it will host a free Navigating Technology Training session on Tuesday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Forest Park Senior Center, located at 5087 Park Ave, Forest Park, GA.
The training is designed to help participants learn the basics of using personal computers, laptops, Apple iPhones and iPads. The session will also include tips on protecting digital identity. Organizers said the event will be hands-on and encourage attendees to bring their own devices for practice. Registration is required due to limited space and can be completed through the Office of Digital Equity website.
The initiative aims to support digital literacy in Clayton County as technology becomes increasingly important in daily life. “This will be a hands-on learning experience,” organizers said in their announcement.
