All coed adult softball games previously scheduled for Field 2 will be played on Field 1 after Field 2 was reported to be under water, according to a June 1 announcement from the City of Athens. The B Division playoffs will also take place on Field 1, while the A Division playoffs are set for Field 3.

The schedule adjustment comes as part of ongoing management by the City of Athens, which delivers municipal services including parks and facilities management as a consolidated city-county government, according to the official website.

The City of Athens operates across both Athens and Clarke County in Georgia and provides unified public services throughout the consolidated area. Its responsibilities include supporting community programs and maintaining historic sites such as the restored Morton Theatre, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, according to the official website.

Updates regarding future field conditions or further schedule changes are expected to be communicated by local officials.
