Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper has expressed his approval following the confirmation of former Senator David Perdue as the United States Ambassador to China.

“A strong US Ambassador to China is essential to the success of President Trump’s America First agenda and American Agriculture, and Ambassador Perdue is uniquely qualified to serve in this critical role,” stated Harper.

He further extended his congratulations and indicated a willingness to collaborate with Ambassador Perdue and President Trump to improve trade negotiations, enhance market access, and reduce the costs of agricultural inputs for American farmers.
