Delta Air Lines has earned the top spot in The Points Guy’s 2026 Best Airlines Report for the eighth consecutive year, according to a June 3 announcement. The ranking highlights Delta as the No. 1 U.S. airline, citing its focus on delivering a premium and reliable travel experience.

Brian Kelly said, “Now in its 10th year, TPG’s Best Airlines Report evaluates thousands of data points across reliability, customer experience, loyalty programs and value to identify America’s top airlines. Delta’s commitment to operational excellence, premium service and customer satisfaction is what helped secure its position as the No. 1 airline for the eighth year in a row.”

The report recognizes Delta’s continued investment in operational performance and customer service amid ongoing changes within the airline industry. According to Kelly, these efforts have contributed to maintaining high standards that set Delta apart from competitors.

Delta Air Lines utilizes a fleet comprising various aircraft models from manufacturers such as Airbus and Boeing to support its worldwide routes; it connects more than 350 destinations globally through an extensive international flight system; it operates as a publicly traded entity incorporated in Delaware under U.S. law; and it delivers scheduled transport for passengers and cargo across domestic and international sites—all according to the official website.

As Delta continues navigating industry challenges while focusing on hospitality and reliability, company representatives say they aim to uphold their reputation for customer-first service.
