Emily W. Munger, a third-year law student, was named the recipient of the 2026 NALP PSJD Pro Bono Publico Award, according to a May 11 announcement.
The award honors law students whose commitment to public service work helps foster a culture of pro bono service within their law school and community. The recognition highlights the role that dedicated students play in promoting access to legal services and encouraging others to participate in public interest work.
Munger was recognized for her “extraordinary commitment to law-related public service work [that] contributes to the overall growth of pro bono culture within their law school and their broader community.”
The University of Georgia School of Law has established itself as a leader in advocacy competitions with national and regional titles, according to the official website.
