Fairview Park Hospital was recognized on May 15 with its ninth consecutive “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for Spring 2026. This achievement marks more than four years of consistent high performance in patient safety and care.

The recognition highlights the hospital’s ongoing efforts to maintain high standards in safety and quality for patients. Consistent ratings over multiple years are seen as an indicator of a strong commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

Brad Griffin, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fairview Park Hospital, said, “Earning nine straight ‘A’ grades is a significant milestone for our hospital and our community. It represents a sustained commitment to the highest standards of safety and quality—not just at a moment in time, but every day over the course of several years.”

Griffin also credited staff across all roles at the hospital: “This achievement belongs to our nurses, technicians, therapists, physicians, and all of our colleagues—both at the bedside and behind the scenes—who are deeply committed to doing what is right for our patients. They bring skill, compassion, and accountability to every interaction, and that is what makes results like this possible.”

The hospital has also been noted as a top-performing facility within Georgia during this period. Griffin said maintaining such recognition requires teamwork: “Sustaining a ‘Straight A’ record takes focus, discipline, and teamwork. We are proud of our team’s dedication and remain committed to delivering the safest, highest-quality care for the communities we serve.”

Leapfrog Group is an independent national non-profit organization that rates hospitals across the United States on measures including safety and efficiency. The group issues grades twice each year based on how well hospitals protect patients from errors or accidents.
