Weather permitting, temporary lane closures will occur as part of roadwork on the State Route 400 Express Lanes Project, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) announced. These closures are set to begin Sunday, May 4, and end Friday, May 9, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The affected areas include Southbound SR 400 from Old Milton Parkway to Holcomb Bridge Road, Holcomb Bridge Road to Abernathy Road, and SR 141 to Old Milton Parkway. Northbound closures are scheduled from Abernathy Road to Holcomb Bridge Road, Holcomb Bridge Road to Old Milton Parkway, and Old Milton Parkway to SR 141.

The department’s contractors will manage single-lane closures, which will impact the inside left lane or outside right lane, along with the corresponding shoulder, at various points along the highway.
