The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced that a bridge repair project will take place on Interstate 75 in Catoosa County on Wednesday, September 3. Weather permitting, the right northbound lane near milepost 353 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

According to GDOT, motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to drive carefully through the work zone. “Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.”

GDOT stated that its maintenance teams continue essential road and bridge repairs while following health guidelines related to coronavirus protection for both workers and the public.
