For immediate release, the Georgia Department of Transportation has announced a series of lane closures on State Route 400 as part of the ongoing Express Lanes Project. The closures will affect both southbound and northbound lanes from July 27 to August 1, during nighttime hours from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The specific areas impacted include SR 400 Southbound from Old Milton Parkway to Holcomb Bridge Road, Holcomb Bridge Road to Abernathy Road, and Old Milton Parkway to SR 141. Similarly, SR 400 Northbound will experience closures between Abernathy Road and Holcomb Bridge Road, Holcomb Bridge Road and Old Milton Parkway, as well as Old Milton Parkway to SR 141.
In addition to these sections, there will be single-lane closures on the Holcomb Bridge Road SB entrance ramp to SR 400 SB during the same period.
These measures are part of efforts by the Georgia Department of Transportation to facilitate improvements on State Route 400.
