The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced upcoming lane closures for the Transform 285/400 Project, subject to weather conditions. Contractors will implement daytime lane closures for punch list activities, which may lead to travel delays, reduced speeds, and detours in certain areas.

Traffic impacts on I-285 and SR 400 are scheduled from June 23 through June 30, 2025. Continuous weekend closures will occur from Friday, June 27 at 9 p.m. to Monday, June 30 at 5 a.m. General lane closures and traffic pacings include one right lane on Roswell Road northbound and southbound from Allen Road to Northwood Drive.

Specific detours are outlined as follows: For those traveling from Roswell Road to I-285 westbound between Friday night and Saturday afternoon, motorists should use I-285 eastbound and Exit 26 Glenridge Drive to access I-285 westbound. From I-285 eastbound to Roswell Road on Saturday morning until noon, travelers should use Exit 26 Glenridge Drive and Hammond Drive.

Overnight closures begin Monday, June 23 with one left lane closed on I-285 eastbound at Peachtree Dunwoody Road and one left lane on I-285 westbound from Long Island Drive to Lake Forrest Drive. Additional overnight closures will continue throughout the week with various detours provided for affected routes.

Motorists are advised that exact construction dates may change due to weather or other factors. They are urged to reduce speed in work zones and remain alert for workers. For real-time updates on work status and traffic conditions, GDOT recommends calling 511 or visiting their website.
