Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractors are set to implement lane closures for the Transform 285/400 Project, subject to weather conditions. The closures are scheduled from July 7, 2025, through July 13, 2025, and may result in delays, reduced speeds, and detours.
Overnight closures will occur from Monday to Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., affecting different sections of SR 400 and I-285. Specific routes include SR 400 southbound to Glenridge Connector on Monday and Tuesday nights, SR 400 northbound lanes on Tuesday night, and SR 400 southbound lanes on Wednesday night. Thursday night will see closures on SR 400 northbound CD lanes to Abernathy Road.
Daytime closures are planned for Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., impacting Roswell Road at I-285. Detour maps are available for motorists who need alternative routes.
GDOT advises drivers to reduce speed in work zones and stay alert for workers. Real-time updates can be accessed via Georgia’s traffic information service by calling 511 or visiting their website.
