The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced upcoming lane closures on I-285 and SR 400 due to punch list activities, weather permitting. The closures are scheduled from June 16, 2025, through June 23, 2025. These activities may cause travel delays, reduced speeds, and detours in certain areas.

GDOT contractors will implement continuous weekend closures starting Friday, June 20 at 9 p.m., continuing until Monday, June 23 at 5 a.m. During this period, motorists traveling on Glenridge Drive to I-285 westbound should use Hammond Drive and Roswell Road as detour routes.

Overnight closures are also planned throughout the week. On Monday, June 16 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., travelers on I-285 westbound to Roswell Road should use Exit 24 Riverside Drive and then I-285 eastbound to access Exit 25 Roswell Road. Additional overnight lane restrictions will occur on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights for various sections of I-285 and SR 400.

Motorists are advised that construction dates might change due to weather conditions or other factors. GDOT cautions drivers to reduce speed when passing through work zones and remain vigilant for workers’ safety.
