The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced lane closures on I-285 and SR 400 due to punch list activities, starting June 30, 2025, through July 6, 2025. The work schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.

According to the advisory, “weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will implement lane closures for punch list activities. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds, and detours in some areas.”

There will be no lane closures from Thursday, July 3 at noon until Sunday, July 6 at 10 p.m., in observance of holiday lane closure restrictions.

Daytime closures are scheduled for Tuesday, July 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., affecting one right lane on I-285 westbound CD lanes from Glenridge Drive to Roswell Road.

Overnight closures are planned as follows:

– Monday, June 30 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., with closures and detours impacting SR 400 southbound to Glenridge Connector.

– Tuesday, July 1 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., affecting one left lane on SR 400 northbound CD lanes from Johnson Ferry Road to I-285.

– Wednesday, July 2 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., impacting one left lane on SR 400 southbound CD lanes from Abernathy Road to Hammond Drive.

Motorists are advised that “exact construction dates may change due to weather or other factors.” They should reduce speed while traveling through work zones and remain vigilant for workers.
