Georgia DOT announces virtual forum for Darien River Bridge replacement project

The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) has announced it will hold a virtual industry forum for the State Route 25 at Darien River Bridge Replacement Project. The forum is intended for interested parties and will be presented as a prerecorded session available online.

According to the department, preregistration is strongly encouraged for those who wish to attend. Registered participants will receive an early access link to the presentation on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 8 a.m. EST. Within 24 hours, by Thursday, January 15, 2026, the presentation will be posted publicly on the Georgia DOT Design-Build web page along with supporting materials and a list of registered attendees.

Additionally, one-on-one meetings are scheduled for Thursday, January 15, 2026. Further details about participation and project information can be found in the Public Notice of Advertisement (PNA) on the Georgia Procurement Registry.

The agency manages various infrastructure projects across the state including highways and bridges while also supporting local governments with road maintenance.
