Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will implement lane closures for punch list activities. Travel restrictions may include delays, reduced speeds, and detours in some areas.
The traffic impacts on I-285 and SR 400 are scheduled from July 14, 2025, through July 20, 2025. Overnight closures are planned as follows:
– Monday, July 14, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., one left lane on I-285 westbound from Chamblee Dunwoody Road to SR 400.
– Tuesday, July 15, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., one left lane on I-285 westbound from Chamblee Dunwoody Road to SR 400.
Closures and detours include:
– Motorists traveling on I-285 eastbound to Roswell Road should use Exit 26 Glenridge Drive and Glenridge Drive or Hammond Drive to access Roswell Road.
– Motorists traveling on Roswell Road to I-285 eastbound should use I-285 westbound and Exit 24 Riverside Drive.
– Motorists traveling on Roswell Road to I-285 westbound should use I-285 eastbound and Exit 26 Glenridge Drive.
– Motorists traveling on Ashford Dunwoody Road to I-285 westbound should use I-285 eastbound and Exit 30 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.
On Wednesday, July 16, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., closures include Abernathy Road to SR 400 northbound with suggested detours via Peachtree Dunwoody Road and Hammond Drive or Mercedes-Benz Drive (road changes to Barfield Drive) and Hammond Drive.
Thursday, July 17, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., one right lane on SR 400 southbound from Northland Drive to Windsor Parkway will be closed.
Friday, July 18, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., one left lane on SR 400 northbound CD lanes from North Springs MARTA Station to Spalding Drive will be closed.
Motorists are advised that exact construction dates may change due to weather or other factors. They are cautioned to reduce speed while traveling through work zones and pay attention for workers.
