The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is set to modify the traffic flow at a Wilkinson County intersection by installing a 4-way stop. The changes are scheduled for implementation on Tuesday, July 15, and will affect the intersection of US Route 80/State Route 19 and State Route 112.

As part of the conversion process, crews will install red flashing lights, stop bars, and stop signs on US 80/SR 19. The existing red flashing lights, stop bars, and stop signs on SR 112 will remain unchanged.

Motorists traveling through this area are advised to anticipate delays. GDOT encourages drivers to exercise caution, reduce speed in the work zone, stay alert, and watch for workers in the vicinity.

GDOT notes that the planned date for this operation may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.
