Georgia DOT schedules industry forum for I-16 widening project

The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) will host an industry forum for the I-16 widening project from I-95 to State Route 67. The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Attendees interested in participating are encouraged to preregister for the forum. Those who register will receive early access to a prerecorded presentation via email on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 8 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Within 24 hours, the presentation will be made available on the Georgia DOT Design-Build web page along with a copy of the presentation and a list of registered attendees and their contact information.

One-on-one meetings related to the project are set for Thursday, October 2, 2025. Additional details about the event can be found in the Public Notice of Advertisement posted on the Georgia Procurement Registry.

The prerecorded presentation and related materials will be accessible online through the Georgia DOT Design-Build web page. Interested parties may preregister through this link: https://www.dot.ga.gov/GDOT/pages/DesignBuild.aspx.
