Weather permitting, contractors for the Georgia Department of Transportation will be closing specific lanes on I-285 eastbound and westbound and SR 400 northbound and southbound. These closures will be for punch list activities, which may lead to travel restrictions such as delays, reduced speeds, and detours.
The affected dates for traffic impacts on I-285 and SR 400 range from April 28 through April 30, 2025, with specific closures set overnight. On Monday, April 28, and Tuesday, April 29, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., one left lane and pacing on I-285 westbound from Ashford Dunwoody Road to Roswell Road will be closed.
Motorists on I-285 westbound CD lanes heading to Roswell Road should use Exit 24 Riverside Drive and then I-285 eastbound to access Exit 25 Roswell Road.
The advisory notes that construction dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to reduce speed in work zones and watch for workers. Real-time work status and traffic conditions can be checked by calling 511, visiting http://www.511ga.org/, or using the Georgia 511 app.
