Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper has announced that the Georgia Grown building will return to the 2025 Georgia National Fair, taking place from October 2 to 12 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry. The exhibits are designed to provide both educational and entertainment experiences for visitors of all ages, with a focus on agriculture, which is described as Georgia’s leading industry. This year’s theme will also celebrate the United States’ 250th birthday.

“We’re excited to once again highlight Georgia’s #1 industry and the farm families who fuel its success through interactive and educational exhibits,” said Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper. “The Georgia Grown building offers a unique look into the people, products, and innovations driving agriculture in our state, and we are looking forward to welcoming the thousands of visitors that’ll stop by this year.”

Returning attractions include the Baby Barn, where fairgoers can witness live calf births, and the Georgia Grown Market featuring locally made products. On October 6 and 7, Cheyenne Bastian-Brown—the American Honey Queen—will be present to meet visitors and participate in activities.

Exhibits inside the building will feature:

– Powerful Peanut: An exhibit by the Georgia Peanut Commission that shows how peanuts go from farms to snacks.
– Seed to Shirt: Presented by Magnolia Loom, this hands-on exhibit follows cotton grown in Georgia as it becomes fabric. Visitors can take home a t-shirt made entirely in the USA.
– Seedlings to Solutions: The Georgia Forestry Foundation highlights forestry by tracing a tree’s life cycle from seedling onward.
– Roadway Safety Around Agricultural Vehicles: The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety offers information on sharing roads safely with farm equipment.
– Farmer Mental Health: The Agricultural Wellness Alliance provides resources on mental health for those working in farming.
