The Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles released on May 12 the agenda for its upcoming board meeting, scheduled to take place on June 29 at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth.
The agenda outlines key topics that will be discussed by board members and staff. The meeting is set to begin at 1 p.m. in Room C-115 of the training center located at 1000 Indian Springs Drive.
According to the published agenda, Chair Holmes will deliver opening remarks following the call to order. The board will then move to approve both the meeting’s agenda and minutes from its previous session held on April 14, 2026.
There is no old business listed for discussion. Under new business, board members are expected to hold elections for chair and vice-chair positions for fiscal year 2027. Thomas Green, Director of Training, is scheduled to present proposed changes to board policies. Christopher Barnett, Executive Director of Parole, will provide a director’s report before adjournment.
