Georgia senators address reproductive freedom in upcoming press conference

Minority Leader Sen. Harold Jones II and Sen. Nabilah Islam Parkes are set to hold a press conference tomorrow to discuss women’s access to medical care under Georgia’s abortion law. The event will take place at the Georgia State Capitol, South Steps, in Atlanta.

The press conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, and is open to the public. Community advocates will join the senators in addressing concerns related to reproductive freedom in the state.
