CJ Pearson, co‑chair of the GOP Youth Advisory Council, said Democrats are putting ICE agents at risk, as federal immigration officers face escalating threats and violent encounters nationwide during enforcement operations.

“I don’t typically wade into drama that doesn’t involve me but those coming onto this app to publicly announce what podcasts they will be ‘refusing’ to do are being so performative,” said Pearson. “The Left is attempting to kill ICE agents. We don’t care about your media schedule.”

In a social media post on X, Pearson addressed media coverage amidst heightened tensions over federal immigration enforcement. He emphasized that efforts should focus on protecting federal agents rather than engaging in personal publicity stunts.

In Minnesota, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem reported that more than 10,000 immigrants have been arrested through ICE efforts. This reflects intensified operations in the region where agents have encountered resistance, including vehicular incidents. Such activities aim to enhance community safety by removing criminal elements.

Nationally, the Department of Homeland Security documented a significant increase in assaults on ICE officers during the first year of the Trump administration. There were 275 incidents from January to December 2025 compared to 19 in the prior year. Vehicular attacks rose by 3,200%, and death threats surged by 8,000%. These figures highlight the escalating risks to law enforcement amid enforcement priorities.

Pearson, born July 31, 2002, in Augusta, Georgia, gained prominence as a young conservative activist with viral videos at age 12. He has supported Republican campaigns and served as national chairman for Teens for Ted and Teens for Trump. Pearson also co-chaired the RNC Youth Advisory Council and ran for the Georgia House in 2024 before withdrawing to aid Trump’s reelection campaign. He currently hosts his own show while advocating fiscal conservatism and immigration enforcement.
