CJ Pearson, co-chair of the Republican National Committee’s Youth Advisory Council, has commented on the perceived weaknesses in former President Joe Biden’s leadership. According to Pearson, these perceived weaknesses enabled the Russia-Ukraine conflict, while he believes that former President Donald Trump’s strength prevented such aggressions.
“During my CNN debut, i made clear: if Joe Biden had never been president, there would be no Russia-Ukraine war to end,” said Coreco Jaquan Pearson. “Our enemies viewed Joe Biden as a doormat. They view President Trump as a matador. no amount of talking over me will change that fact.”
Pearson recently posted on X about his debut appearance on CNN, where he discussed perceptions of U.S. leadership in foreign affairs. He clarified that the Russia-Ukraine war stemmed from Biden’s term in office. The post features a video clip from the panel discussion highlighting differences in how global actors view Biden and Trump.
The United States has committed more than $66.9 billion in military assistance to Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in February 2022 under the Biden administration. This support includes equipment drawn from Department of Defense inventories across multiple tranches. Public opinion polls indicate divided views on the handling of the conflict, with varying levels of approval for leadership approaches.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 arose from longstanding geopolitical tensions, including concerns over NATO expansion and regional influence. Analysts point to Vladimir Putin’s aim to prevent Ukraine’s alignment with Western institutions as a key driver. The war has led to widespread economic disruptions, affecting global energy markets and supply chains.
Pearson was born on July 31, 2002, in Augusta, Georgia, and began engaging in conservative politics at a young age through blogging and youth organizations. He gained prominence in 2015 with viral videos defending Republican figures and later worked on campaigns for Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. In 2022, he became co-chair of the Republican National Committee’s Youth Advisory Council and ran unsuccessfully for the Georgia House of Representatives in 2024.
