Thanks to recently signed legislation, Georgia taxpayers and small business owners are set to receive significant tax relief. Governor Brian Kemp finalized two bills, House Bill 111 and House Bill 112, designed to bring economic benefits to residents and entrepreneurs.

House Bill 111 aims to expedite the state’s largest-ever income tax cut, allowing Georgians to retain more of their earnings sooner than expected. Meanwhile, House Bill 112 introduces a one-off $1 billion income tax refund for those who qualify.

NFIB State Director Hunter Loggins expressed appreciation for these measures. “Small business owners appreciate Governor Kemp’s leadership on tax relief,” Loggins stated. He added, “These bills will help entrepreneurs cope with rising costs, reinvest in their operations, and keep Georgia’s economy growing.”
