Gregg Bedol announced on May 7 the opening of the waitlist for BD4, a business development platform aimed at attorneys, consultants, wealth managers, and other professionals who rely on building relationships. The new platform is designed to help users avoid inconsistent cycles in client acquisition.

The announcement is significant for professionals who often face challenges in maintaining a steady flow of clients. By providing tools that guide users on whom to contact and when, BD4 seeks to streamline the process of relationship management.

John Yates, a partner at Gunderson Dettmer with more than 35 years of experience in Atlanta’s technology and startup community, serves as BD4’s legal counsel and subject matter expert. Bedol said that his long-time friend Yates is “the person our customer wants to be.” He also described the product by saying it gives every user “John Yates in an app.”

Bedol has experience across software, consulting, and SaaS companies including Oracle Retail, Conner Partners, RedZone Consulting, Habitat for Humanity International, Antuit AI, Guidebright Partners and previously co-founded Quantuvos. He leads BD4 alongside CTO James Simmons, CFO Kent Elmer and product designer Sreeidhi Jayakumar.

The company is currently focused on serving professionals working in law, consulting, wealth management, real estate, fractional leadership roles and investment banking. The waitlist for BD4 is now open.
