Fannin County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Students will create a colorful stained-glass heart just in time for Valentine’s Day.  

Workshop will introduce the copper foil method of creating stained glass projects from start to finish. Using the provided pattern and many choices of stained-glass colors, students will learn cutting patterns, scoring, grinding glass, applying copper foil, use of solder and soldering iron, setting hangers, applying patina and polish. The workshop is designed to give students a feel and knowledge of creating a stained-glass art piece. 

Students need to bring safety glasses, medium black sharpie and wear closed toe shoes.  Limited seating. Don’t forget to dress for the mess.
