Georgia Congressional candidate Kandiss Taylor said that America’s rising costs and debt are the result of self-driven leadership and urged the adoption of common-sense, America First policies.
“Our national debt is out of control,” said Kandiss S Taylor, Congress Candidate. “America isn’t unaffordable because we’re failing! It’s unaffordable because our leaders are self driven. We need common-sense, America First policies. We MUST do better.”
Taylor’s remarks reflect renewed conservative concern over inflation, rising insurance costs, and national debt. Many Republican candidates have emphasized restoring energy independence, cutting taxes, and reducing government spending to stabilize the economy.
According to the U.S. Treasury Department, the U.S. national debt exceeded $35 trillion in 2025. Economists project that annual interest payments will soon surpass defense spending, highlighting the urgent need for long-term fiscal restraint and budget reform.
Between 2020 and 2025, U.S. household costs rose by more than 18%, driven by higher prices for groceries, housing, and fuel. Inflation pressures have hit middle-class and working families hardest, especially in southern states like Georgia.
Taylor is a Republican congressional candidate from Georgia known for advocating faith-based and America First policies. A former educator and gubernatorial candidate, she has focused her platform on family affordability, transparency, and fiscal discipline.
Georgia has become a key battleground in national politics, influencing congressional balance and policy direction. The state’s diverse economy, rapid growth, and closely contested elections continue to shape both state and federal political priorities.
