The House Special Committee on Resource Management Water Subcommittee, led by State Representative Chas Cannon (R-Moultrie), is scheduled to meet in Claxton, Georgia, on October 22, 2025. The meeting will take place at 818 W Main Street and is set to begin at 10 a.m.

According to the announcement, “The House Special Committee on Resource Management Water Subcommittee, chaired by State Representative Chas Cannon (R-Moultrie), will hold a meeting on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 10 a.m. in Claxton, Georgia.”

Members of the subcommittee are expected to attend the session. Information about the meeting and access to its live stream can be found online.

State Rep. Jon G. Burns (R-Springfield) has served in the Georgia State House since his election in 2005 for the state’s 159th House District. He succeeded Ray Holland in this role.
