Crews will undertake resurfacing work on a section of I-75 in Gordon County, affecting traffic flow over two nights. The work is scheduled to occur between mileposts 314 and 316, with the two right northbound lanes closed on Thursday and Friday night.

The closure will take place from 6 p.m. until 4 a.m. on May 22 and May 23. While entrance and exit ramps remain open, motorists should anticipate delays during these hours.

Motorists are advised to “expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.” For real-time updates on the work status and traffic conditions, travelers can call 511, visit 511ga.org, or use the Georgia 511 app.

Maintenance teams are continuing essential roadwork while adhering to health guidelines to protect themselves and the public from COVID-19.
