Traffic on I-85 and SR 42/North Druid Hills Road will be impacted from July 3 to July 13, 2025. During the holiday period from July 3 at noon to July 6 at 10 p.m., there will be no lane closures. Overnight closures are scheduled from July 7 through July 12, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

These closures include various lanes on SR 42/North Druid Hills Road eastbound and westbound from Buford Highway to Briarcliff Road starting at 9 p.m. Pacing is also planned for these roads during the same hours. Additionally, one right lane on I-85 southbound from Clairmont Road to Lenox Road will close starting Tuesday.

Detours are in place for several routes:

– Motorists on SR 42/North Druid Hills Road heading to I-85 northbound Frontage Road should use I-85 northbound, Clairmont Road, and I-85 southbound Frontage Road.
– For those traveling on I-85 northbound to North Druid Hills Road westbound, it is advised to take SR 42/North Druid Hills Road eastbound (Exit 89 A).
– Travelers on SR 42/North Druid Hills Road eastbound heading to I-85 southbound should use I-85 northbound Frontage Road and Clairmont Road.
– Those going westbound should follow the same detour.
– Drivers on Corporate Drive going to I-85 southbound should utilize the I-85 southbound Frontage Road, SR 42/North Druid Hills Road, I-85 northbound Frontage Road, and Clairmont Road.

Motorists are encouraged to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce speed in work zones. Real-time updates can be obtained by calling 511 or visiting the website at www.511ga.org.
