Chambers & Partners named King & Spalding the UAE Venture Capital Law Firm of the Year at the Chambers Middle East Awards 2026, which celebrate top law firms’ pre-eminence across key Middle Eastern jurisdictions, according to a May 27 announcement.

King & Spalding was also a finalist for six additional awards. These included Middle East-Wide Law Firm of the Year: Transactional; Saudi Arabia Banking & Finance Law Firm of the Year; Saudi Arabia Corporate/M&A Law Firm of the Year; Saudi Arabia Projects & Energy Law Firm of the Year; UAE Corporate/M&A Law Firm of the Year; and UAE Investment Funds Law Firm of the Year.

The annual awards recognize outstanding achievements over the past year. According to Chambers & Partners, these include “exceptional legal expertise and casework, remarkable strategic growth and expansion, and superior client service delivery.”

The recognition highlights King & Spalding’s presence in major legal markets in both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The firm’s performance as a finalist in multiple categories reflects its involvement in transactional work as well as specialized practice areas such as banking, finance, projects, energy, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and investment funds.

Chambers Middle East Awards are regarded within industry circles as an indicator of high achievement among law firms operating in regional markets.
