The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced temporary lane closures on State Route 400 as part of the ongoing Express Lanes project. The project involves constructing new express lanes along a 16-mile section of SR 400, from the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority North Springs Station in Fulton County to just north of McFarland Parkway in Forsyth County.
According to GDOT, contractors will close traffic lanes at various locations for roadwork activities. Weather permitting, these closures are scheduled from July 13 to July 18, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Specific areas affected include sections of SR 400 southbound and northbound between Old Milton Parkway and Abernathy Road. Additionally, there will be closures at Holcomb Bridge Road entrance ramp to SR 400 southbound.
