For immediate release on Friday, July 18, 2025, the Georgia Department of Transportation has announced lane closures as part of the State Route 400 Express Lanes Project. These closures will affect both southbound and northbound lanes.
On SR 400 Southbound, from Old Milton Parkway to Holcomb Bridge Road, there will be a single inside left-lane or outside right-lane closure with corresponding shoulder closures. This will occur from Sunday, July 20 to Friday, July 25 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Similar closures are planned from Holcomb Bridge Road Parkway to Abernathy Road and from Old Milton Parkway to SR 141 during the same dates and times.
For SR 400 Northbound, closures will take place from Abernathy Road to Holcomb Bridge Road and from Holcomb Bridge Road to Old Milton Parkway. Additionally, there will be lane closures from Old Milton Parkway to SR 141. These restrictions will also be in effect nightly from July 20 through July 25 between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Other affected areas include the Holcomb Bridge Road SB entrance ramp to SR 400 SB with an outside right-lane and shoulder closure during the same period at night. On Raintree Drive SB at the intersection with Market Blvd, there will be single lane and shoulder closures with flagging operations occurring daily from July 20 through July 25 between 9 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
