The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced lane closures on I-20 eastbound from mile markers 101.5 to 103 as part of the CR 249/Old Mill Road Interchange Project. The closures will occur overnight from Sunday, July 27, through Wednesday, July 30, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and exercise caution while traveling through work zones. “Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions,” advises the department. Travelers can call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app for updates.
