Lane closures announced for State Route 400 Express Lanes Project

Lane closures are scheduled on State Route 400 and nearby roads as part of the ongoing Express Lanes Project, according to an advisory from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

From Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13, there will be daily rolling right lane closures on the northbound exit ramp to Northridge Road between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The northbound entrance ramp from Northridge Road will also see daily rolling left lane closures and shoulder closures during the same period and hours.

Additionally, nightly bus lane and shoulder closures are planned for the northbound entrance ramp from Mansell Road from midnight to 5 a.m. on Monday, March 9 and Tuesday, March 10.

Several cross streets will experience nighttime single lane or shoulder closures. Webb Bridge Road westbound at SR 400 will have a single lane closed overnight from Tuesday, March 10 to Wednesday, March 11 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., while Webb Bridge Road at Westside Parkway will have nightly shoulder closures from Monday, March 9 through Wednesday, March 11 during those same hours.

Colquitt Road southbound at Brentwood Way is set for a single lane closure overnight Thursday, March 12 into Friday morning. Roberts Drive westbound at SR 400 will have nightly single lane closures throughout the week. Old Dogwood Road at Holcomb Bridge Road will see right turn lane closures overnight on Tuesday, March 10 through Thursday, March 12.

The GDOT advises drivers in affected areas to plan accordingly due to these temporary changes in traffic patterns.
