Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced lane closures for the Transform 285/400 Project, subject to weather conditions. The closures are part of punch list activities and may result in travel delays, reduced speeds, and detours.
The lane closures will affect I-285 and SR 400 from July 21 through July 26, 2025. Overnight closures are scheduled as follows:
– Monday, July 21: One left lane on SR 400 southbound CD lanes from Spalding Drive to Abernathy Road; one right lane on Peachtree Dunwoody Road at I-285.
– Tuesday, July 22: One left lane on SR 400 southbound CD lanes from Spalding Drive to Abernathy Road.
– Wednesday, July 23: Detour for motorists traveling on SR 400 southbound to Abernathy Road via Exit 5B Hammond Drive and SR 400 northbound.
– Thursday, July 24: Detour for motorists traveling on SR 400 southbound to Hammond Drive via Exit 5 Abernathy Road and Mercedes-Benz Drive (road changes to Barfield Road).
– Friday, July 25: Same detour as Thursday.
