The Stafford School of Business at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College announced on May 11 that the “Money Matters Bootcamp” will return May 28 and 29, expanding its curriculum to include Microsoft Excel alongside QuickBooks Online. The event aims to strengthen financial management skills for participants using two widely used accounting software programs.

The bootcamp is part of a new certification program at the Stafford School of Business. Participants earn a badge for each workshop attended, and after collecting three badges, they receive a Stafford School of Business Certification. This credential demonstrates proficiency and adaptability in business-related skills.

“The SSB is excited to offer a certification to go along with the knowledge provided by attending our sessions,” said Dr. Yasemin Atinc, dean of the Stafford School of Business. “We will track progress toward the certification for participants and will provide documentation once earned.”

Sessions during the two-day workshop will focus on practical applications of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for small businesses and profit-based enterprises. Attendees are required to bring their own laptops for hands-on learning experiences. The schedule includes instruction from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 29; lunch is provided on the first day.

Participants will learn how to monitor expenses, organize revenue streams, and improve financial reporting using both software platforms. A complimentary trial period for QuickBooks will be available so attendees can continue practicing after completing the bootcamp.

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College offers bachelor’s degrees in business fields such as general business, economics or management through its accredited Bachelor of Science in Business program; students may also specialize in healthcare or public service within organizational leadership tracks according to the official website.official website Other notable features include affordable tuition rates, first-class facilities like J.G.
