The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and the Community Bankers Association of Georgia (CBA) recently held a legislative town hall at Fresh Air BBQ, an NFIB member business in Macon. The event brought together state Senator Rick Williams and Representatives Shaw Blackmon, Regina Lews Ward, and Dale Washburn.

During the gathering, participants discussed key issues affecting small businesses, including taxes and government regulations. Legislators answered questions from attendees about matters impacting Main Street businesses.

NFIB State Director Hunter Loggins said, “This event gave our members and other small business owners the opportunity to hear what’s happening in Atlanta and share their concerns directly with their elected leaders. We appreciate all of the legislators who joined us and took time to listen to the people they represent.”
