Nineteen students from the University of Georgia School of Law are taking part in the Global Externships Overseas program this summer, according to a May 6 announcement. The initiative is organized by the school’s Dean Rusk International Law Center.
The program allows students to gain practical legal experience by working in private and public legal settings across Asia, the South Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. This opportunity aims to enhance their legal studies with real-world international exposure.
The School of Law supports experiential learning through 18 clinics and externship programs while promoting high graduate employment rates, according to the official website. In addition to these opportunities, the school maintains resources such as the Alexander Campbell King Law Library and serves a diverse student body with strong academic profiles.
The University of Georgia School of Law has achieved recognition for its advocacy competitions at both national and regional levels. It has also been ranked No. 22 by U.S. News & World Report and recognized for value by National Jurist, according to the official website.
