Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) construction partners will carry out overnight lane closures on I-20 at the Georgia-South Carolina state line. The closures are part of maintenance work for the I-20 at Savannah River Bridge project.
The planned schedule is as follows:
– Monday, July 28, from 9 p.m. until Tuesday, July 29, at 7 a.m.
– Tuesday, July 29, from 9 p.m. until Wednesday, July 30, at 7 a.m.
During these times, there will be single-lane closures on I-20 eastbound and westbound between mile markers 201 and 202. The right-hand lane will close at 9 p.m., with reopening expected by 7 a.m. without any unexpected delays.
Motorists should anticipate possible impacts on the shoulders of I-20 in both directions and are advised to expect delays and exercise caution through the work zone.
