The Roberta-Crawford County Chamber of Commerce announced on May 27 that the Papa’s Peach Classic 5K and Fun Run will take place June 20 at Dickey Farms in downtown Musella. The event, which celebrates fathers, includes a race for both children and adults. All participants will receive a free ice-cream cone from Dickey Farms.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Crawford County Father’s Day celebration and honors William “Billy Bob” Davis Jr., who is recognized for his contributions to preserving the history of Roberta and Crawford County. The chamber described Davis as someone who was always ready to share stories about family or local history.

Participants can sign up online through the Macon Tracks website or by filling out a form at the Roberta-Crawford County Chamber of Commerce office at 39 Wright Ave. in Roberta. Early registration is encouraged, but walk-up registration will also be available.

Trophies will be awarded to winners, with special recognition planned for Billy Bob Davis Jr. during this milestone event.
